Qualified bid definition

What is a qualified bid?

A qualified bid is a written proposal from a licensed, bonded commercial contractor covering the same scope of work, same materials, same timeline, and same site conditions as your project. It must include the contractor's license number, insurance certificate, and a line-item or lump-sum breakdown. Verbal quotes, estimates from unlicensed parties, and bids with different scope or exclusions don't count. Submit it through the form and we'll respond.

A written proposal from a licensed, bonded commercial contractor for the same scope, materials, timeline, and site conditions — with license number, insurance certificate, and a line-item or lump-sum breakdown. See the full definition above. Verbal quotes and unlicensed estimates don't count.

What if you can't beat it?

We withdraw. No job, no charge. We'll tell you straight.

Do you take residential work on this offer?

No. This offer is commercial only — DFW commercial roofing and construction. We don't pursue residential under Beat Our Bid.

Who is this for?

What happens after you match or beat the bid?

We schedule a site walkthrough to confirm scope and conditions, then move forward under the agreed number. If site conditions differ from the competing bid, we say so before any work starts.
